In January 2023, the New York Museum of Arts and Design held a retrospective of costume designer and performance artist Machine Dazzle, in an exhibit entitled "Queer Maximalism." While his over-the-top outfits filled the exhibit with color and sparkles, it was the accompanying suitcases that really caught my eye. There was one for each planet of Solar System, plus ones for the Sun and Moon, and for the galaxy.
